Ricky Rudd Joins the United Way 51st Promotion With Rockingham Speedway for the Carolina 500

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (April 23, 2008) – Ricky Rudd was announced today as the United Way of Richmond County/Fast Track High Performance Driving School “chauffeur” for the lucky  winner of the charity auction. Rudd will be driving a special two-seat race car that will allow the auction winner to put on a driving suit, helmet, Hans Device and roll off with the other 50-cars starting the Carolina 500. RUDD FINISHES 21st IN FINAL CUP SERIES CAREER START

HOMESTEAD, FL (November 18, 2007) – Ricky Rudd and the #88 Snickers® Ford Fusion finished 21st Sunday in the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. After 31 seasons in NASCAR’S most elite series, Rudd completed the final NEXTEL Cup Series start of his career Sunday. Known as NASCAR’S “Iron Man” for his record of most consecutive career starts, Rudd made his 906th career start in the Ford 400. (September 3, 2007) ----- The SHARP AQUOS 500 at California Speedway was the 25th race on the 2007 schedule for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series but it meant a great deal more to Ricky Rudd, driver of the SNICKERS® GENERATION MAX™, who made his 900th career NEXTEL Cup Series start on Sunday night. Rudd was making the most of the occasion, running in the 16th position when an accident on lap 179 sent the #88 Snickers Generation Max Ford hard into the front stretch retaining wall and Rudd to the local hospital for precautionary measures. Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the second-oldest automobile race track in the world and has been in existence since 1909. The speedway is nicknamed “The Brickyard” after the 3.2 million paving bricks that were used to create the track’s racing surface. Since then, the track surface has changed to asphalt and the only remaining section of bricks is a three-foot wide section at the start/finish line. It was the first time NASCAR has run a Nextel Cup race on a Tuesday in their modern era. LONG POND, PA– Ricky Rudd drove his way to a Top-15 finish Sunday afternoon in the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway with a 13th-place performance.  Rudd who won at Pocono in June of 2001, piloted his #88 Combos® Ford Fusion to a strong finish at a track where he was also the highest-finishing Ford on Sunday.  The #88 began the Pennsylvania 500 from the 20th position and was able to hover around the 15th position for the majority of the race due to a superb handling car and smart pit stop strategy. COT DEBUT PROVES DIFFICULT FOR SNICKERS TEAM

BRISTOL, TN (March 25, 2007) - The #88 Pedigree® Ford Fusion finished 38th in Sunday’s Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.  After qualifying in the 24th position, the #88 Pedigree team struggled the majority of the afternoon to find a balance in the car that was to Rudd’s liking.  Several combinations of track bar, air pressure, and wedge adjustments could not improve the handling of the car and, after an accident late in the race, the car limped home to a 38th-place finish. LATE RACE WRECK CATCHES RUDD AND THE #88 SNICKERS CAR FONTANA, CA

Ricky Rudd and his #88 Snickers® Ford Fusion took a 27th place finish Sunday in the Auto Club 500 at California Speedway. The Snickers team had made adjustments to the car all day long in hopes of turning in a strong finish, but a wreck in the final laps of the race proved to be the final downfall for the team on Sunday.Rudd started the race in the 34th starting position on the outside of David Reutimann. The driver of the Snickers Ford started the afternoon gaining spots in the pack after a few early cautions came out. Pit strategy found the team taking four tires and fuel during the first few pit stops.
